All week I’ve been raving about how AirBnB partnered with Disney to recreate Winnie-the-Pooh’s home in celebration of this iconic character’s 95th anniversary.
Up to four guests can reserve a stay in this treehouse by paying $105 for a night.
For ardent fans, it’s a big temptation worth indulging in. In fact, this one-off stay is currently sold out!
But why did AirBnB help to build and sell such a stay?
Technically, this is a new product line to increase revenue.
In reality, this is a marketing campaign to celebrate something that their community will cherish in order to accelerate brand recall.
Marketing is not limited to blogs, webinars, and e-books.
It includes whatever helps your brand find a place in your prospect’s heart.
For today’s takeaway, take away from your marketing mind the notion that marketing is just an activity. It’s anything that makes sales superfluous.
