Is it possible for adults to get addicted to nursery rhymes?
All week, I’ve been reminiscing about a recent weekend trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
It was a great weekend, but on the drive back, nursery rhymes were on full blast to keep our 1-year-old engaged.
In fact, these are always on for 15 minutes during our morning drop to the daycare as well.
But, listening to it for 3 hours straight soon found me singing alto and tenor for the songs Baby Shark, 5 Little Monkeys, Open Shut Them, etc.
In fact, the longer I listened to these rhymes, the less I minded them as the minutes rolled on.
By the end of the trip, I knew the lyrics as well and was singing along to every song!
Now, I find myself constantly humming these toddler tracks all the time.
It was annoying at the start, but now I think I’m addicted to it.
