What will a 5-year-old do if you give him a CD (compact disk)?

This week, I’ve been reliving realizations from a recent weekend trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Caleb, my 5-year-old, found a CD there and asked me what it was. 

I asked him what he thought it was.

So he looked at the shiny surface and asked me if it was a round mirror!

I told him that it had many songs in it that we could listen to.

He then looked at the CD and asked, “So if it plays songs, why isn’t it playing songs now as your phone or laptop does?”

Good point!

We live in an impulsive era when people expect products to be intuitive and work immediately.

Takeaway

If you appear complicated, you will disappear from your prospects’ minds.

Can’t wait to show him a floppy disk next!
