Goodbye Saturdays

Many brands are guilty of doing things because “we’ve always done it that way”.

Every Saturday, we send our email subscribers a weekend manna update listing the week’s posts in case they missed reading any of them.

We’ve been faithfully summarizing the week’s manna since our blog began.

We recently analyzed our data to see if our email subscribers were reading the weekend summary.

As the data wasn’t enough to drive a decision, we asked our subscribers who opened the most emails on the weekend for their feedback.

We learned that nothing would change in their world if we didn’t send out the summary email on Saturdays.

So we cut the weekend umbilical cord and decided to keep this daily blog to just weekdays.

Tomorrow we’ll be sending out our last weekend manna email.

Thank you for your weekend patronage over the years.

Just because we can do something, it doesn’t mean we should.
