Why does marketing fail or is non-existent in the lives of most brands?

The primary reason is that most people don’t know what marketing is and what it isn’t.

When people refer to marketing, a majority of them mean sales. 

When they visualize marketing, a majority of them picture a blog.

Real marketing is nothing like what most of us visualize it to be. 

The world of marketing is so big that it cannot be explained comprehensively in one line or post. 

Marketing is a journey – it takes a day to know about it but a lifetime to master it. 

But we can start talking about it today and move forward tomorrow.

Here’s a practical question to start thinking in this direction. 

When you recently bought salt from the grocery store, did that brand market their offering to you or did they sell it to you?
