Whether it’s the ‘About’ page on your website, the brief description on your company’s Facebook page, or even your LinkedIn bio, these are the biggest magnets of your marketing.
Because that one section attracts or repels your prospects the most.
No prospect has the time or bandwidth these days to be interested in a random company.
We’re a selfish species and are always looking for what’s in it for us.
And when we find interesting brands, we go to their pages to learn more about them.
We head over there to find out what it is about those brands that overlap with our lives and make sense for us.
We go there to know more about how those brands can transform our lives, not about their lives.
Yet most ‘About’ sections are about the brands themselves and not about their prospects.
