Late last year, Guinness declared a new record of sorts. 

It officially announced that Monday was the worst day of the week. 

In a tweet shared late last year (that has since garnered almost half a million likes and 100,000 retweets) Guinness stated the obvious.

“We’re officially giving Monday the record of the worst day of the week.”

But the point is that everything has a brand and is a brand. 

Even a day of the week is its own brand. 

This is proven by how much most people dread Mondays, and look forward to Fridays and the weekend. 

In fact, brands like TGIF have built an entire restaurant business model around our perception of Fridays.

Ignore the need to invest in your brand at your own peril.
